The Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) is pleased to announce that it has achieved certification to quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 as of November 23, 2018. The certification and audit process was conducted by AJA Registrars Inc., an independent certifying body providing 3rd party registration and training services.
MNWD is now quality certified to ISO 9001 across its Customer Service Processes which includes Meter Reading, Billing, Customer Care, New Service Connection and Disconnection, and Reconnection which directly service our clients and customers.
This is a significant milestone for MNWD, providing a solid foundation and framework for developing and improving service delivery within its service coverage area.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is the most updated standard focusing on quality management systems and performance. It assists companies in developing a management system that aligns quality with business strategies. It emphasizes risk-based thinking and accountability in all organizational processes that help improve communications, efficiency, and implementation of continuous improvement.
Having this certification assures both MNWD’s current and potential customers, as well as the government units, agencies, and stakeholders, that its processes and systems have been designed and implemented to meet customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements and are managing and controlling the risks associated with its service delivery.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates MNWD’s desire to always perform at the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
