MNWD at NCSAT

Upon invitation of Ms. Melanie Sales Nasayao, In-Service Training (InSeT) Proponent and Mr. Dante Santilices, Principal, both of the Naga City School of Arts and Trades (NCSAT), the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) sent two resource speakers for the seminar “Empowering Teachers of the 21st Century Through Professional and Collaborative Approach” in the morning of May 22, 2017.

Mr. Pedro Prima of the Environment and Water Resources Division (EWRD) discussed the MNWD watershed and septage program while Ms. Maide Sison of the Public Relations and External Affairs Section (PREAS) talked about water conservation and its importance to 40 teachers who attended the seminar.

Aside from the talk, there were video presentations and followed by an open forum where various related ideas were discussed. The MNWD employees distributed flyers to the group and Ms. Sison called the attendees to action in helping the community thru water conservation and environment protection, especially in the protection of our Mount Isarog Natural Park (MINP).
