MNWD supports Brigada Eskwela 2017

This year’s support to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela in schools within Naga City is part of the Metropolitan Naga Water District’s (MNWD) corporate social responsibility. This year’s theme “Isang DepEd, Isang Pamayanan, Isang Bayanihan. Para sa Handa at Ligtas na Paaralan” is similar to the MNWD’s constant call for community involvement toward holistic development.

The objective of this outreach thru Brigada Eskwela was to help lessen the expenses of schools for the repair of their water pipelines. Ensuring that water coming out of the school faucets is clean and free from contaminants brought about by leaking and/or worn-out pipes will prevent water-borne diseases.

Another aim of the activity was to engage stakeholders to the MNWD’s programs and address government’s calling to make initiatives for society’s development.
