Bearing the tagline “Sinulog sa Maogmang Lugar” devotees from Naga City joined the celebration of the Feast of Señor Sto. Niño last January 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Plaza Quezon.
The Archdiocese of Caceres through the Immaculate Conception Parish and the City Government of Naga jointly organized the festivity which showcased the Ati-Atihan Street Parade competition and Procession of Sto. Niño images from Panganiban Drive to Plaza Quezon followed by a Concelebrated Mass at 5 o’clock in the afternoon and fireworks display soon after.
The feast of Señor Sto. Niño has been a tradition widely acclaimed in the Philippines every year with grand celebrations in some parts of the country including Cebu, Aklan, and Iloilo. In the local scene, devotion was conveyed in the same manner with collaborative efforts from different government and private institutions.
The MNWD in support for the festivity and continued public service, provided hydration station and facilitated the distribution of water to the devotees, guests and participants. People of different ages filled the water station for refreshment throughout the event.
Last 17th of January, observance of the feast was also renowned at MNWD as it is the district’s patron saint, all employees engaged in the procession of the image within its premises.
Consequently, the MNWD was able to glorify the Catholic faith through the feast of Sto. Niño at the same time connect to its local constituents.

HYDRATION STATION. MNWD set-up the water station as early as 1:00 pm at Plaza Rizal, Kinastilyohan Street, Naga City.
MNWD STAFF. Employees of MNWD joined the celebration together with MNWD’s Board of Director Monina Lily A. Claveria.
REFRESHMENT FOR DEVOTEES. MNWD provided free water for devotees and participants of the Sto. Niño during the festivity.

PEOPLE IN ONE FAITH. Devotees assembled at Plaza Quezon to attend the Holy Mass at around 5:00 pm.
MASS HELD AT MNWD. A mass was held at MNWD in celebration and honor to the district’s patron saint.
OGM’S OFFICE BLESSING. Right after the mass, blessing of the new room at the Office of the General Manager was also conducted.
