MNWD Welcomes New Members of the Board of Directors

The Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) is proud to have the most respected industry leaders as members of the Board of Directors who share the mission to ensure sustainable water supply within our service coverage area. Newly appointed members of the Board of Directors: Gilbert N. Albero (business sector) and Agileo Michael R. Pauig (civic sector) took their oath of office before Mayor John G. Bongat last December 18, 2018, Tuesday.

Dir. Gilbert N. Albero, a business tycoon, is a graduate of the Ateneo de Naga University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He is also a 2017 Koica Fellow in the Green Economy Learning Program in various cities of the Republic of South Korea.

With 16 solid years of experience in the top level management as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3GX Solutions, GXTech Philippines, and A1 Prime Construction and Trading Corporation, Albero needless to say, has proven his superiority in the business field.

On the other hand, representing the civic sector is Dir. Agileo Michael R. Pauig who was previously appointed for 1 year to finish the term of former Dir. Aquiles D. Lo. He served as President of the Rotary Club of Naga, Naga Parochial Parents Council, Jardin Real Home Owners Association, and Camarines Sur Medical Society Auxillary.

He is also a member of the Isarog Garden Society, an execom member of the Ms. Bicolandia Committee, and was installed as the first Hermano Mayor of Our Lady of Peñafrancia Basilica Minore.

Director Mike brings to the MNWD his many years of experience in moving and shaking the world as a civic leader, a business development manager, and a philanthropist. He is presently connected with Mead Johnson Nutrition Philippines as Senior Business Development Manager in the Bicol Region.

The appointment of the new MNWD board of directors represent the breadth and depth of this dynamic industry across the Bicol region. Their leadership will help bring more innovations to address pressing issues of the water industry, nourishing and fueling the world, and protecting the environment.
