Bicol College Chemistry Class Visits MNWD

At 1:00 in the afternoon on September 28, 2016, 2nd year Chemistry College Students of the Bicol College, Daraga, Albay visited the MNWD Laboratory as part of their Educational Tour. A group of more or less sixty (60) students and two of their instructors, headed by Mr. Mario Orense, were welcomed by the MNWD Laboratory staff lead by MNWD’s resident Medical Technologist, Ms. Zandra S. Gutierrez, along with Public Relations and External Affairs Section (PREAS) OIC, Ms. Maide D. Sison.

Students listened intently as Ms. Zandra discussed the Functions of a Medical Technologist, the Process of Water Sample Collection and Bacteriological Testing, the Different Instruments and Equipment in the Laboratory, and the Laboratory and its Maintenance. She also graciously entertained questions from the students. Ms. Zandra then directed the students to visit the MNWD website and contact the water district through its contact numbers if they have further concerns and inquiries.

MNWD is always glad to welcome students and organizations to impart with them knwledge regarding the different functions and processes being done by the District.
