MNWD Pumping Station Up and Running

Title: MNWD Pumping Station Up and Running

In its continuous commitment to provide adequate and clean water supply to the public, the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) has integrated in its system the pumping station located in Monte Cielo, Barangay Del Rosario, Naga City last Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

The new Monte Cielo pumping station produces water at 10 liters per second (LPS). The assimilation of this new water source will greatly help in the needs of the households in the Del Rosario and Concepcion areas where big subdivisions are located.

Aside from the said additional water source, the pumping station built in Jardin Real, also in Barangay Del Rosario, which is currently undergoing disinfection and flushing is hoped to be finished and injected in the water system before the Peñafrancia Fiesta. It can also produce 10 LPS.

These two reactivated water sources could supply more or less 2,000 households in barangays Concepcion Grande and Del Rosario, Naga City.
