Last March 14, 2015, the Metropolitan Naga Water District was awarded recognition as one of the stakeholders of “Kasurog Kan Salog kan Buhay – Defenders of Naga River” during the Naga River Day Celebration at Eurotel Hotel, Dinaga, Naga City. The award was received by the Acting General Manager Mrs. Virginia I. Nero from the City Mayor Hon. John G. Bongat, Cong. Leni G. Robredo and the City Officials.
